When you pray, you expect to receive an answer, right?

I know what I do.

As a Christian wife, there are many other things I could be doing if I knew my prayers weren’t working:

Study the word, sing worship music, wash, clean or spend time with my family.

Nevertheless, I know that prayer works, that’s why I do it constantly.

I think many Christian wives do not pray often because of the fear of saying the wrong thing or making a mistake, as well as not really believing that the prayer will actually work.

Yes, there are many things that can make prayer ineffective and meaningless, both for you and for God.

But here is one of the biggest mistakes you can make when you pray: Do not pray in the name of Jesus!

Hear me clearly on this error: Praying in the name of Jesus is like signing on the dotted line. God has given you power of attorney to use the name of Jesus. Everything must bow under the name of Jesus. But when you don’t pray in Jesus’ name, you’re saying your prayers based on you and your power, not God’s power.

As a Christian wife, this is what this means if you make this mistake: you are in danger of having your prayers not answered because praying in any other name cannot guarantee an answered prayer.

Everyone should understand that this is key because if you don’t when you go to God He sees through His Son, then when you don’t go in the name of Jesus, you are saying that you go to Him in your own power. . Is that really good enough to get your prayers answered?

My advice at this point to avoid this mistake is to pray in the name of Jesus because His name has power and weight that the average person is not qualified to carry. Praying in the name of Jesus tells God and Satan that you mean what you are saying.

Once you understand the facts about prayer, you can move forward with confidence. And understanding how to avoid this mistake is a great start for any Christian wife!

But as you can see, this really is just the tip of the iceberg.
