Walt Disney World – “Wow, we’re leaving. But now what do we do?” There are so many things to do that it is impossible to do them all in one week of vacation. Knowing some of these Disney tips beforehand will help you cut them down and eliminate some hassles. Let’s start by giving you 5 Disney World tips to increase your fun. Walt Disney World can be a lot of fun, but there are ways to make it more fun by following the tips below.

1. Tickets! A great tip from Disney! Get your tickets before you leave home or at least a day before you plan to enter the first park. Package tickets are the best. There are many packages to choose from and there will be one that fits the bill. However, the lines to enter the park will continue to be long. Imagine how much time you spend queuing up to buy tickets first! Your wait would be double! Another Disney World tip: Disney stores in malls sell park ticket packages. Some multi-day tickets won’t last as long as before. Once a ticket is used at the first park, it expires in 14 days. But it’s still cheaper to pack many days and not add the expiration date for a fee. Use them on your next trip.

2. Once inside, use the Disney “FastPass” option. Popular rides can have long lines waiting to enter. Maybe an hour long! If you don’t like long lines, go to the FastPass Kiosk near the line for the ride you want and enter your ticket. Will give a receipt with a one hour reservation window for later in the day. You can then go back and go directly to the beginning of the line. This allows you to experience more in each park than other visitors.

3. Do your gift shopping earlier in the day. The selection is bigger then. The stores are packed just before the park closes. The disadvantage is that you can carry your purchases all day.

4. The last tip from Disney is really two for one. First, attend one of the Character Breakfasts, Luncheons or Dinners. They are an experience that everyone in your group will enjoy and will allow you to gain additional advantages. For example, purchasing tickets for the Character Breakfast at Animal Kingdom allows you to enter the park 1.5 hours before opening. You’ll have a behind-the-scenes breakfast adventure and when it opens, you’ll be at the front of the line.

5. Time! Summer break, winter break, and spring break are BUSY! If that’s the only time you can go, be prepared. If you can make it through the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, they are much less crowded and yet more festive. The last three weeks of January and most of October are also good.

There are many Disney tips. They could fill an encyclopedia. Hopefully these few will give you a taste of the Disney parks and increase your enjoyment.
