Almost all my co-workers know that I am on a diet. The other day, one of my co-workers told me that she thought her grocery store was out of Medifast products because she looked in the diet section or the aisle of the store and couldn’t find any of the shakes or foods on the market. side of the quick slim shakes or by the weight watchers diet foods. I had to explain that these products (including shakes and bars) are not sold in grocery stores. So, she responded by asking if our town had any clinics or doctor’s offices that sell them. No, I replied, this diet is not like Jenny Craig where you have to get your food from the clinic or center and it’s not like some of the harsh liquid diets that have to be prescribed by a doctor. So where can you buy Medifast? I will fully answer this question and tell you why I think one method is so much better than another in the next article.
Get Medifast from eBay or Craigslist (and why I don’t think this is the best way to do it anymore 🙂 Basically, there are three ways to buy these products. You can get them second hand on sites like eBay or Craigslist. You can buy them online directly from the company itself. However, you can link to them through third-party sites that offer support, coupons, recipes, etc. In the past, I’ve bought groceries on eBay and Craigslist, but I don’t do this anymore. This is why. Some of the food I bought in the past was expired, stale, or no longer sealed. If you are going to buy the products second hand, make absolutely sure that you are buying from a seller with impeccable feedback.
I eventually abandoned this method because I discovered that by using coupons and specials, I actually sometimes paid less (or at least not much more) for food by getting it direct from the manufacturer than by buying secondhand. And I was getting my food fresh and straight from the source. Actually, at about $299 a month (usually less with coupons and specials), these foods often cost less than I’d spend on groceries, so it wasn’t worth it for me to buy something I was actually going to put regularly on my body from someone I didn’t know.
Buying and buying Medifast online: You can go directly to the company’s website and buy anything you need. You can buy the products individually, or you can buy a monthly package that will give you about 150 meals that you eat five times a day (this is by far the cheapest way to go). But before you do, make sure you first check out the latest special offers and coupon codes. This can save you a lot of money. The company almost always has something on sale or offers up to two weeks of free food (this is worth more than $70). There is no point in placing an order until you have made sure that you can save as much money as you can. they can.
The company usually ships your order quickly (you can expedite it if you want, but I think it’s pretty quick using standard shipping, and much cheaper). With a little planning, you can program it to get your next order right. before you run out of meals so you always have “safe” food on hand.
