Temperament: Playful, loves to be carried, gets along with others. As with all breeds, parental temperament and socialization come into play.
Height, Weight: Depends on the size of the parents. Typically 3 to 8 lbs.
Health Issues: No claims of extraordinary health or illnesses specific to Morkies have been documented. As will be the case with all dog hybrids, Morkies inherit any number of combinations of the physical and behavioral attributes of the Maltese and the Yorkshire Terrier.
Colors: black and tan, black and gold, black and white, black, tri-color with black, gold and white. It can also be mostly white.
Required Exercise: Most of the required exercise can be obtained in an apartment or house, but they love to play outside and go for walks.
Life expectancy: 15-18 years
Litter size: 2-4
Grooming: Similar to the Yorkie and Maltese. The coat can be long and flowing or you can give them a puppy cut or other haircut.
