Telephones used to be used only to call someone when you needed or wanted to talk to them. 1. If you are a fan of texting like so many people in today’s society instead of talking, you can improve your typing speed by tapping the space bar twice in a row. This is the quick way to insert a period instead of changing the keyboard pattern on the screen.
2. Keeping up with the theme of being able to text quickly, iPhone automatically capitalizes words that should be capitalized and also inserts apostrophes where they should be. This is not something you need to modify, but it is an interesting thing to know about the device.

8. Sometimes you want to protect your children from explicit content. This is possible through the parental controls found in the iPhone settings.
9. Images can be quickly saved to the phone by holding down your finger. This will give you the option to save the image if you want to do it directly to your image library.
10. You can enter a URL very quickly in the address bar and save yourself some time by skipping the www that is usually entered at the beginning of the domain name. The iPhone has the functionality of being able to read URLs without this being necessary.
