Cement panel siding is great in all siding materials and styles that complete a home with a very decent design. Many houses are in the cement board style, especially in San Francisco locations, particularly Daly City area, San Bruno area and Millbrae area, Los Angeles, San Diego, New York and a lot from other metro and city areas. The siding approach is different from a feature like chair covers, furniture or chair covers, and other furniture in general, as siding projects are laid out along the surface areas of the sides of the house. This is not a feature enhancement to be taken lightly. The cement board type is all the rage these years as minimal and modern designers are playing the industrial loft type of living arrangements.

In Dwell magazine, the urban and city designer’s newspaper, cement board approaches are featured not only in exterior cladding projects, but also in interiors. What’s appealing to the interior approach is that the coatings can be applied to bare concrete walls that have not been finished, as is often the case in converted industrial spaces like loft spaces in Los Angeles. Interior panels are also attractive for the so-called wet bath technique. In India and Southeast Asian countries, wet bathing is common and becoming a fashionable feature of modern urban housing. These wet bathrooms typically have a toilet and a portable shower head connected to a facet by a hose. These siding approaches are great for these bathrooms because the walls can simply be hosed down the surfaces. And since the sidings are built to drain the water down, this is perfect for a bathroom that is equipped with a drain like the wet toilets found in India and Southeast Asia do.

Aside from interior siding application, the cement board approach is also great because it is inexpensive. Sure there are ways to disguise it, but for most, cement board cladding as a technique is pretty good, as the designers say. This approach is called the appropriate locale for the type of urban buildings that are often found in downtown areas or sectors of cities or subways. Recently, the cement approach has been praised by environmentalists who are looking at developing technologies that make cement materials compostable. Especially in this real estate market, where foreclosures make up the majority of geographies in certain cities, demolition of such properties is sadly unavoidable. And environmentalists are happy, at least, that cement can decompose well in the soil, this is possible thanks to a special additive that allows decomposition to occur; Home composters will not be able to use this in their own compost bins, sadly.

In the wake of the recession of 2009 and 2010, real estate developers are returning to the economic focus of cement and adding some twists. To appeal to urban dwellers, they are creating unconventional and radical design concepts for previous generation siding approach. A developer in New Orleans has featured a property that included a rotating color scheme in its siding to produce a kind of alternating effect that has been featured in many modern home design magazines.
