When you are tired of exploring the medina, souks and crowds in Marrakech is too much and you feel like partying in high society style, partying at Marrakech Nikki Beach would be a wonderful way to enjoy, relax and just let your hair down. . This is one of 14 Nikki Beach locations found around the world and I would say they definitely live up to their reputation when it comes to hosting great parties.
In my opinion, it is definitely one of the best outposts of the Nikki Beach chain that spans 4 continents. To get there, it would be best if your Marrakech riad or hotel offered a private transportation service to take you. I heard many stories about people being ripped off by drivers when they took a taxi. At the entrance, you would be greeted by their not-so-happy-looking doorman who charges people up to $40 for the entrance fee.
Good thing we didn’t have to pay for admission when we went there as the hotel gave us free VIP passes. They serve the best sushi and two-handed frozen caipirinhas in all of Morocco. They are so good and well worth every dollar we pay for them.
We arrived around 3-4pm which was perfect as the party doesn’t start until late afternoon. This allowed us to find the best poolside spot between the white canopied beach beds which gave us a great view of the surroundings. The place was filled with house music from Nikki Beach’s latest CD and looking around we saw that there were already a number of beautiful people there for some early fun.
Marrakech Nikki Beach slowly transformed into a nightclub with a beach themed house party as the night progressed. The place became more alive with its sexy lights and equally sexy electronic music courtesy of its resident DJ. There was movement and laughter everywhere and I was surprised to see so many rich and beautiful people from Marrakech and all over the world gathered in one place at the same time.
In the middle of the freeform pool was a swim up bar where girls in hot bikinis hung out and there were plenty of sofas and beach beds to lounge on with big palm trees in the background. Marrakech Nikki Beach is where the best party is! Every year it is noted for its annual Nikki Beach White party which attracts celebrities, models and the Moroccan elite.
However, there are people who find the place a bit expensive and I guess this goes for all Nikki Beach locations around the world, with the main reason being the exclusivity that separates the rich and famous elite from the mainstream crowd. This place is not your average tourist destination.
Find out about Marrakech Nikki Beach event times before you go there. They are not open every day and the best time of the week to check out the party scene would be a Saturday and Sunday with the Marrakech season opening from March 10 to January 2 of the following year.
