In our Madness Chronicles episode 24, we’ll take a look at the insanity in the continuing alarm of climate change. Remember that insanity is an especially severe state of mental illness, extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at the ramblings and awakening of the climate madness.

In a recent talk from Ted, the disaster recovery attorney (seriously, did you know we had such a thing?), Colette Pichon Battle told participants that scientists predict that climate change will displace more than 180 million people to 2100. She says it will be a “climate migration” crisis for which the world is not prepared. He urged everyone to radically restructure the economic and social systems that drive it all. Others believe that it is a human rights issue.

Pope Francis recently called for a ‘new economy’, an economy that is sustainable and supports the planet. Making those remarks in a recent speech to the Vatican diplomatic corps, the Pope harshly criticized the world’s governments’ response to the catastrophic effects of climate change, calling their efforts “very weak” and “a source of grave concern.” Is it just me, or what “catastrophic” effects have we seen?

Mary Daly, president of the San Francisco Fed, recently said that climate change is central to a bank’s mission. The Fed, the ECB, the Bank of England and the Bank of Japan have embraced climate change as part of their mission. Governor of the Bank of Japan. Haruhiko Kuroda warned, “The challenges posed by a series of recent natural disasters and the potential impact on the economy of slowing growth abroad should be better addressed by the government with fiscal policy and structural policies. ” Did these bankers conclude that the loans will have to be tied to the borrower’s preparedness for climate change? Remember, he, with all the money, makes all the rules.

A group linked to George Soros has joined forces with the mainstream media to ensure that climate skeptics are silenced on YouTube. The group, by the name of Avaaz, is a left-leaning non-profit group. They posted a report on their website that claims YouTube is “profiting by spreading misinformation” to millions of people by placing too much importance on climate denial videos. They are leading other groups in a coalition to get YouTube to block the voices of climate skeptics. Freedom of expression?

Starbucks, the self-proclaimed poster boy on the left, is asking customers to change their habits. In other words, by 2030, the coffee chain is targeting 50% reductions in the amount of water it uses, the carbon it emits, and the garbage it sends to landfills. Environmental consultants hired by Starbucks warned customers that the best thing they could do to reduce the company’s damaging impact on the planet would be to buy cheaper beverages and forgo milk.

Rather than buying fancy frappucinos and indulgent espresso-based desserts, customers would do better to buy plain, pure black espresso. For you Frappucino drinkers, Starbucks says you should consider skipping the whipped cream. Adding whipped cream to millions of drinks emits 50 times more greenhouse gases than the company’s private jet. You really can’t make these things up. Wall Street wasn’t impressed, but maybe everyone in line for their frap’s will be.

With all the China virus hysteria we are bombarded with today, they may not need climate change to subdue us all, but who knows? May we wake up from this madness before it is too late. I wish you good health, and until next time, have fun, enjoy life, and watch out for the madness between us. It’s getting out of control.
